i've read spiff's answer...
he did say that it was only his opinion...
the encyclopedia reference is wrong anyway as even encyclopedias must have a section on dowsing and so on...

information is information... wait to see what the others there say... it's still up to the scouts to pick it up and the editors to accept it for the edited guide...

if it doesn't for some obscure reason fit with a too traditional official guide there's still the unofficial one... and of course the post which is ok too...

romani: yep they're supposed to help you making it an entry that can be accepted into the edited guide...

the main problem is will the format as an edited version will have your approval really...

but if it's picked up by a scout then someone will sub-edit it and obviously you will have a say...

i just can't see why an entry on pendulums can't fit in the edited guide...
there are some edited entries about the paranormal/unexplained etc.. [tho' quite lame if you ask me...]

will have another look at what he said... just to make sure...

well a scout as looked at it & they seem 2 think it would b ideal 4 the post too.......but now im not sure as 2 whether 2 do some more work on it cos there is so much more i could add,,,,but then thats gonna make it a bit more complicated 4 the novice reader

yep i read the scout's comments... i also read your entry again... tho' i don't agree that dowsing is only a belief i suppose a few "it is believed" at some stategic points might do the trick... obviously the how to use the pendulum would not be affected as it's a "how to" section...

the main problem i see is if you want to add more info you gonna have to fight with the digibox and make it a two part entry...

at least the scout's comments were more constructive than the first one... they were giving advice on how to make your entry fit the edited guide criteria... so there is an interest...

quite a lot to think about...

obviously you can send this version to the post and come back one day with another version for the edited guide...

Hello I hope I am not too late as this is my first time, I am not quite sure which competition I am entering in for. So here is my contribution that I quickly wrote tonight. As a late comer it will take a while for me to get used to the rules. I am not very good at writing and do not have the standards that you have.
