I am using this as bookmark until I have an idea for a story. When I was a little girl, I heard that the Dutch in an story about Storks back coming to Holland eat toffee to help them to think. When I have wrote the story out I will post it.

but might be fun to leave it there a bit more... even if it just for the pleasure of watching the "sceptics-with-a-mission" dig a hole for themselves...

i found out on the bbc site that dowsing was still being studied by scientists... so might not be as bogus as a someone was trying to convince herself...

believers of science should follow more what science is doing me thinks...

it's up to you obviously...

is still a good option and of course the alternative guide...

It might be a good idea to post the whereabouts of that news about scientists still testing dowsing on the convo thread so that certain persons can go and see for themselves.

yep... i thought about it... it was mentioned in one of the messageboards of bbc science...

but i need to find where is the original piece of info as unfortunately that particular messageboard is the one for the "fringe" of science talks...

but i'm sure something must be mentioned in the more "traditional" scientifics sections... will do a search later on for dowsing for all the bbc sites... i'm keen to find something too as i don't like somene hiding behind unexistant "scientific findings" to dismiss anything that hasn't be explained by science... it's too "james.randy.like" for my taste...

will come back to you on that asap...

i got one bbc link already in the bbc history... it shows that dowsing helped finding an archeological site or something like that.. [they did used computerised equipment after that to get more precise mesurements but STILL... dowsing took them at the spot they needed to look...]
the problem with bbc links is that they are ing long to write...
