Ok this is an amazing event I experienced on my recent triop to Germany and I thought it really needs to be included in the guide.

Hi there!
This looks good
Just a few typos here and there... nothing that can't be fixed by a spellchecker... but it sounds very interesting! Do many people go?

Thousands all the museums are really full. It was amazing to be in museuam at 11 or two in the morning and still seeing so many people.

Hi there DD,
I think this is a great idea for an entry and will be a great addition to the EG.
I am what you might call a Berlinophile, having visited the city quite a few times over the past 3 years, including three separate periods of one month each when i did intensive German language courses with the Goethe Institute.
This is quite inspiring me to get going on some Berlin entries.
There are quite a few typos in there, but I won't list them now. Presumably this is not your final draft.
I wonder whether you might consider a more comprehensive list of the museums that participate. Well, i realise that there is a whole uni project in terms of material, but I think some extra info here on the many different institutions that take part would be valuable.
Gotta go,

I was thinking it but as they do depend on what is participating at any particular time and what is avaiable I thought I'd leave it a little not discript as all the details will be in the programme for the event and on the website which I may ahve to add in as well as reference.

a link sounds like a good idea. And indeed, given PC's enquiry above, it may be worth mentioning that it is *very* popular, leading to a considerably more crowded museum experience than usual.
I think it is fair to say that there is a common misconception that because it is late, there won't be that many people (esp after midnight) - in my experience and from what others have said, this is rarely the case, especially with the most popular spots like the Museen Insel.
just a couple of thoughts

Small typo that an English spell checker can't find: Nachte --> Nacht

Great entry! Off into the Edited Guide with it!
It might be worth mentioning that the "Lange Nacht" is not exclusively a phenomenon of Berlin.
One can find them in Aachen (A356898), Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Cologne, Erfurt, Hanover ...

Hi Tube,
interesting, and for my money definitely worth mentioning. I certainly did think it was a 'Berlin' thing.

Spiff it's already been added.
I have a problem if I add the official german language web site the whoe entry will be hidden so I am seeking editorial advice.

Ah, yeah, the Mods do such silly stuff. AFAIK, the Eds can tell 'em to leave your links alone, though.

How about you discuss that with the subbie and whoever while this is going through the Editorial Process? I think that the Entry is quite complete & finished, would be pointless to leave it languishing in PR just because of a minor quibble.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
