Truely, doctors haven't taken the hypocratic oath for years. (Us nurses never did.) No doctor now vows to do no harm to their patients.... S'true.

Yikes! No wonder they're always looking at me funny and laughing among themselves...

I've met some b*****d doctors in my time!

So have I. I've also met the wonderful variety. I knew an amazing neuro-surgeon, it was a joy to work with him. Not only was he skilled, treated his patients (AND their families) like intelligent people, he also understood that nurses (or most have them) have been issued with fully finctional brains.

He had a little boy's sense of humour too, (why couldn't he get his own?). During his holidays he would go to the job centre to look for casual work, simply so - when they asked him what skills he had - he could say, "I'm a brain surgeon" and run out laughing. That would amuse him for ages.

sounds like a role model.

I once met a radiologist, if you were 5 minutes late with a patient, he'd say "we havn't got time for her now, bring her back and we'll phone when we're ready"

You get power trippers in all professions. I'm not going to wast my time, energy or typing skills on any of them.
