A Conversation for Talking Point: Special Occasions away from Home
Birthdays never at home
HanSolo Started conversation Nov 27, 2002
As I have birthday in August, normally I'm not at home there.
So I have been celebrating in almost every country of Europe. Sometimes friends of me were with me, as we were doing vacations, sometimes I met friends there, like this year, when I was doing an internship in Cracow, Poland.
Everytime it was a different birthday party, but it was always nice and great.
On the other side it's bad I can't have a "normal" birthday party with my friends at home, but as there would be vacations, no one would be at home, too, so it's OK.
Just make the best of it, it's a great possibility gaining new experiences and finding new friends.
I'm quite happy with it.
