This year is my first year away from home. I've come from a climate that I've always considered normal (Colorado), to one that I can safely say is completely void of seasons: Texas. I'm taking a bunch of time off work and flying home for Christmas week. I'll be flying at basically the busiest possible times, both ways. I'm sure the airports will be a huge mess. Call me crazy but I'd rather put up with the hassle, pay for overpriced tickets, and use half my yearly time off than wear shorts on Christmas Eve.
