I'm away from home, living in Sydney when my family lives in Adelaide. The thing I've found over the last year or so out of home is that because my Housemates go home to their families for holiday celebrations and whatnot, because there's no fuss made over Christmas (Or Easter etcetera), it quickly just becomes another day for me. I don't get nostalgic or whistful or anything like that, I just get up and go about my day as I normally would.

Nopers. You wouldn't think it's Christmas in our house. No lights or decorations or trees or anything. Though in a way it's kind of relaxing...you get enough of that stuff in the shops and whatnot...
