i was thinking about changing my nickname from spook to orangefish for a week or two, to see what people say and to confuse people for a bit of fun. what do u guys think?

In reply to your post, Terran, I hear you. I was an ace once, and then they un-instated me because I was away most of the summer because of my job. And I would ask to be reinstated butI don't have time anyway.

I think I'll stick with it a bit longer and see how it goes. I'm probably not the best at being a "Happy Clappy" person. Happy maybe, but not clappy . No offense to any other ACE's out there by the way .
And its funny, I always thought I sort of conformed with things but while I've been in here I've felt quite rebellious, maybe thats why I decided to become an ACE, to control these urges. (mainly the reason I found this site was because I was starting to read HHGTTG at the time, and was interested in talking about it. Little did I know it was the one thing people didn't want to talk about . So I think I became a bit angry about that *Did you note the odd reference to MARVIN the paranoid android in my earlier conversations * ). Anyway I really must learn to count to ten before I post anything in future...maybe .

I tend to dip in and out of the Post to be honest. Though I have caught some of your stories about the Russians, The Internet and something about beacons which you haven't really gone in to any great detail yet. I think its quite interesting.

Why do you ask? Are you planning to do anything with it?

yeah, vey soon i'm gonna go into detail about the h2g2 beacon, however, i was thinking of renaming my column to Orangefish X for a few weeks while i've changed my name.

terran - please note that i am now orangefish. may i also ask that you go to the terrania threads (anarchist lib one, sugegstions one, sitizenship one) and announce that President Spook is on holiday for a while, and sincehe did not make any laws before he left, everyone can do whatever they want for the next couple of weeks without any government involvement.

they've been complaining about government involvement and how they didn't want government so while spook is on holiday they get what they want. i say spook will be away for a couple of weeks but who knows how long it'll be?

but i can guarantee u ain't seen the last of spook, or orangefish. perhaps they will become joint the same person at one time. who knows...
