A Conversation for FANTASY FOOTBALL - Season 15 - "The Final Run In"
FF15 - Week Three
GreyDesk Started conversation Jan 15, 2006
I feel the need for a quiet week this week. So the selection is for relatively unfashionable teams, or (with one exception) teams who aren't doing anything that is unexpected of them.
Birmingham v Portsmouth
Middlesbrough v Wigan
West Brom v Sunderland
Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday
Leicester(*) v Cardiff
All selections to be in by lunchtime on Saturday, 21st January
(*) This is the one exception mentioned above. Fester *are* doing something unexpected of them this season: they're going down

FF15 - Week Three - Results
GreyDesk Posted Jan 22, 2006
Oh dear! Where did it all go wrong? Poor old Owlatron has gone from hero to, quite literally, zero this week
Riotact, on the other hand pulls off yet another winning week ()to build a solid lead up in first place after just three weeks of the season. Ormondroyd is lurking in second after a goodish week himself. And for some reason I seem to be in third (don't worry folks, I won't last )
Also we welcome back Egon this week. He posted a bunch of picks without so much as a by your leave, nor any explanaton as to where he's been all these months. But as he's an ex-manager himself, I guess it's alright, he probably thinks he still owns the place. ( Come to think of it I did find a mouldy old pair of size 16 boots lying around recently, and they can have only come from him back the last time he was in charge.)
Finally, the news is that McKay is alive and well after his short stay in hospital getting his 'cabbage' fixed up
------------
The Results:
Birmingham 5-0 Portsmouth (JAROSIK, Pennant, Upson, Forssell, Dunn)
Middlesbrough 2-3 Wigan (ROBERTS, Thompson, Hasselbaink, Yakubu, Mellor)
West Brom 0-1 Sunderland (WATSON)
Leeds 3-0 Sheffield Wednesday (BUTLER, Cresswell)
Leicester 1-2 Cardiff (JEROME, Fryatt, Koumas)
