This is great, RE. I'll print what's here when I get back on the 15th or 16th or so and work my way through. It shouldn't take long.

I see no reason for not publishing it on Towel Day.

How cool would that be?

General points:

1. appears countless times - not though in one case where 'The Years of Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start the Fire: 1962' (P.45) is shown to have been "*edited* by Mu Beta". All the Approved Entries show "Edited by: XXXXX" and not sub-edited by...

2. 'English Usage in Approved Entries' doesn't specifically mention the house style for speeds, though it does for measurements: "there shouldn't be any spaces between figures and measurements thus: 7cm not 7 cm, 47km not 47 km." So, I've suggested losing the space between 172 and mph for example.

3. You probably realise by now that I'm no expert at this smiley - bigeyes . Someone with a firmer grasp of the niceties of punctuation would most likely have thrown in a few more commas - my view is that, provided there is no apparent ambiguity... why bother? Life's too short. smiley - whistle
