h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm looking for a singer in the night clubs in the UK. I'm hoping to find someone who can help me with some information. It's a friend I've lost contact with over time and would love to re-connect with soon. He's from Sheffield and has performed for several years on weekends as his second profession. He's about 5'7" /175 lbs or so /black hair /blue eyes & wears glasses (sings few newer songs but mostly old 50's & 60's & love songs are his usual) If someone has any idea who he might be I'ld love some help without giving out his name !

Well - this place is unfortunately a wee bit too virtual for anyone near that physical description to have been around...

But if you find a suitable singer - preferably one with someone backing him - the bar could probably use a house band...

I appreciate your help. He's a solo singer with a soundtrack of background pre-recorded music ( no band required )in his gig.I remember him saying his manager has him booked up to a year in advance.So he's quite popular there in the clubs. When I last spoke to him 1 1\2 years ago, he had just finished producing a cd of his own to pre-mote himself at the clubs.If any of this might help.
