24th August, 31st August or the 21st September?

Oh like the 3rd of May one we had where I got balloons and Kylie
I'd like to request not the 24th, the 31st seems plausable I think!

I'll be missing a Bradford City home match whichever of those three dates is chosen, so I'll vote for August 31. We're playing Rotherham that day, and a lot of their fans are pretty vile, so in a way I'd be relieved to skip that game!

Howdy Granny - thanx!
Yup - the Admiral is threatening to put in an appearance - evening only - but at least it will demonstrate she's not just a figment of my fevered imagination!
I'm working on the poorly PC myself - I'm competentish but I have an excellent guru to advise me. It's had a new hard disk (from 4.8Gb to 40Gb - how did I live somewhere so small?) and an upgrade from Windows ME (aaaarrgghh) to Windows XP Pro and it looks as though it might have done the trick. You can follow the saga in the 'Can you help me fix my PC' thread on my space!
If the problems should return I've steeled myself to invest in a new motherboard and processor, and while I'm on the case I'll treat it to some fresh RAM and new IDE cables. Which will leave the CD-ROM, the CD-RW and the box! Should do the trick, but I hope I don't have to.

Obviously, seeing as Granny and mick have avoided my gigs for so long, I cannot find the time to attend a gathering involving the two of them.
ok, then you've twisted my arm!
I'll be there.
On the same topic. 29th August. minusoneraver will be at the wttic in manc land. £3 a ticket. Love it if anyone could make it.

Geoffers would dearly like to be there.
HOWEVER, Mrs Geoffers is due to give birth in early September, which as all parents know, means anytime from now. If she is still pregnant on the night in question (whenever it's decided), I hope to make it.

I might be able to make this, if I'm not moving house that weekend.
I'm looking forward to seeing my daughter again, she works in Manchester, so if she's not working that night, she'll be along too.
If I have to bring my son, I can only make the Star Trek exhibition
And I thought museum entrance fees had been dumped by the Government?

So, is the 31st looking favourite then? It's looking like the front-runner so far.
The Admiral and I definitely can't make September 21, we propose to be somewhere hot and sunny and far from Manchester on that date.
And have we sacked the 10-pin idea?

This time, maybe for a meet nearer Xmas, & then we could all do some shopping as well and the 31st seems to have got more votes than any other date

Shopping? Good grief Granny - don't say the 's' word!
*trembles with anxiety at the thought of shopping*

Now I have a dilemma. Been invited to another party on the 31st but it probably wouldn't be as much fun...

threesecondmemory Posted Aug 15, 2002
I too share your dilemma MC. It's a friends 25th b'day party on the 31st and I really can't miss it as she always comes to our gigs. Anyhow, it'll be fun.
Thoughts people? Granny, Mick, anyone. Can you make the gig at the attic? (thursday 29th August)??

Ormondroyd Posted Aug 15, 2002
Anyone who's busy in the evening could always come to the Trek exhibition, say hello to everyone, and then leave before the booze-up!
