You know, men see the world in 16 colours - like the Windows Standard colour scheme. And according to that, aubergine surely is not a colour!

.. copper is a metal, aubergine is food.
colours are things like red, blue and green. all the others are mixes of those

mm.. I never understood what flattering has to do with the remark "your hair looks just like an aubergine"
