Ah yes, St. Brice's
Æthelred ordered the killing of all Danish men - and then they went and killed Gunhilde...
Wonder what she may have looked like

oh, my mistake. I thought you and Hapi knew some of them/had been to some of the Nordic meetups?

Hati Posted Dec 1, 2011
Yes and yes. And Pierce lives in Denmark which technically is not Scandinavia either. We've even seen northern lights.

What do you mean by technically not Scandinavia? I thought Scandinavia was pretty much defined as Norway, Sweden and Denmark?
Or is that just an English perception of the identity?

and one of these days I'm going to get round to booking my trip to try and see the northern lights.

Well, yes, DK is Scandinavia and once owned the best parts of it. Pierce, as he puts is, is a borderkraut (not to be confused with sauerkraut). And Finland is on that peninsula partly. Scandinavian, I mean. I am getting lost somewhere between history and geography. One is for sure, I don't live in Scandinavia.

Indeed, don't force yourself. Wouldn't want you to feel pressured or anything. In fact, since I've obviously caused you some degree of social discomfort, I'll drink it myself and remove the problem

I wouldn't offend the brewers by ignoring their product
