Oh, thank you! Will you stay here for some time?
Well, I'll fetch the coffee first, then we can chat a little.

Hi €ngländer,
Amstelveen calling, home-location this time.
What's the news? For me it is that my daughter and her b'f can come home any moment from their trip to Croatia and Slovenia.

Oh, yes... I remember having been there once some 10 years ago at least. Quite nice country. I wonder how it´s changed till now...

I think it was just over. I was trying to remember which year it was, but I faild. I know that they wanted a special insurance for the car at the time, and we somehow found another crossing into Kroatia, where they didn´t want us to buy it

I am pretty sure things have changed a lot since those days. One of my friends just came from there and the photos were marvellous. He suggested to go there before the arrogant western tourists discover the beauty of this country. Croatia, that is.

Oh, arrogant Western tourists have been there for ages. It used to be called locally as the "Teutonen Grill"
There´s the famous highway down to Greece the "Autoput" because of the many carcrashes on the long streight stretch, too.

Oh, they said they have mostly only arrogant German tourists. But then again, perhaps those are the most arrogant.

Yeah, sounds like a plan to me.
See you tomorrow, Marjin.
If you feel like having a nap, you can always go upstairs and find a spare room for yourself.
