In Houston, TX, local law prohibits alcohol from being served at TITS clubs, but allows patrons of TITS clubs to bring their own alcohol. Another amusing detail is that the term "plaza" somehow became a euphemism for a club where topless dancers perform. So if someone invites you to meet him at "Gentleman's Plaza" or "Fantasy Plaza," be advised of what kind of place you're going to.
I don't know this from first-hand experience, but I've heard a little about it. My wife's sister's daughter is a topless dancer somewhere around Houston, maybe Pasadena. No, really.
None of this has anything to do with the SBVM. I just wanted to remind you what kind of people will now wander into this club after searching for "TITS" and finding this "TITS CLUB."
What does the acronym stand for again? Thorns In Their Sides or Thorns In Their Site? I should know what it stands for if I'm going to continue being one.

Hum, yeah. I see the difficulties involved with TITS, but I guess we shall have to put up with that as that's the collective name. And I think we are able to stop unwanted discussions by non-members.
Hmmm... T.I.T.S. Club, maybe? Yeah, I'll change the name.
Thorns In Their Site. As we have nothing against anybody personally but just against what s/he/they are doing at/with h2g2 there is no need to get physical with hir/them.
Oh, welcome BTW. I thought I'd add each tit which turns up here to the authors of the page. Hope you don't mind.

There were several theories, as I recollect, if I had the time I would check.
Anyways - Larry Flint has politicised pornography, first ammendment and freedom of speech and all that jazz. So not such a misleading name, perhaps?
Gotta go, good to see you guys.

Seeing that there's This Week's Topic - Coping with Pre-menstrual Syndrome ... are we allowed to use the again... ?

Coping with pre-menstrual syndrome, huh? How about, find someone who's less pre-menstrual (and not too inhibited either ), and check back in a few days?

Find someone who's not pre-mentstrual? That reminds me off when some friends of mind came to stay for some months. After they'd been here a while, and our cycles matched, Peter was heard to walk out the house wailing "I'm surrounded by PMT-ridden evil harpies from Hell! What did I do to deserve *this*?!".

I ususally like being pre-menstrual. The energy, and the ability to take no crap are very useful.

In the States, we call it PMS for Pre-Menstrual Syndrome. What's the T stand for? Pre-Menstrual Tyranny?

How delightful! Hardly an affliction at all. "Are the cramps bothering you, dear?"
"No, no, don't give it another thought, love! Merely TENSION, nothing more."
In my wife's case, PMT would stand for Pre-Menstrual Texan.

Years ago, when I was responsible for making sure the company I worked for got paid, I would save up my credit control calls for the appropriate week...
...We got paid.
Behaving professionally when you have PMS/PMT is a bit like slicing tomatoes when you are drunk. You honestly try to do it without damaging yourself or anyone else, but if you do cause harm you don't actually care.
As I said, I don't really suffer from PMT, I ususally enjoy it.

Mark Moxon: "Nah, I'm going travelling for myself. As for how they'll replace me, that's not really my concern, but as far as h2g2 goes, Natalie will be taking over the running of h2g2 as from the end of this week."

Ok, people! Here's the plan: we kidnap and replace Natalie and - voilá! - we run this site...
