Well, I have always meant to get to San Francisco..being that it's in the same time zone.
So..oh damn, I forgot to look at the drink list. How about a Midori Sour?

Hello Nyssa
I think this is the nearest thing to a Midori Sour we have
I might have guessed you'd choose this table.

Well they say that SF is the greatest city in the world. Might as well come as close as I can to a visit and throw my boots up on the table and imagine all the pretty bisexual girls who surely abound .

Well at least thats one of the advantages of the weekends server problems
That is the advantage of the Associative Arms you get to go anywhere, and you save heaps on the airfare

Oh, I have been OK. I have been enjoying the little gap between my placement and university (although I am having to investigate a project at the same time).
It has been really good not having to wake up quite so early in the morning
So how have you and your clan been getting on?

OK..my babies are with their grandparents for a week (), but I'm handling it OK..
Other than that..well. School has started back up, I'm working full-time for the first time..well ever, actually. My business sucks quite a lot, but that's how things go.

I should think its tricky getting used to the little ones not being there all the time, but as you say it is only for a little bit and I'm glad to hear your handling it ok.
Full time working is never good, they expect you to get up early and work all day, completely unreasonable.

Say, are you still in school? Working? (Other things I've forgotten/confused with other researchers, so I tend to re-ask )

Researcher PSG Posted Sep 2, 2003
I'm at University, but I've just completed a year of work as part of my course.
Its OK to re-ask, there are alot of people to keep track of.

I am studying computing, at a uni you'd never have heard of so forgive me if I just omit the name(I'm a bit nervous about what specific details about myself I give away on the site).
When I grow up? I haven't planned that far ahead

I forgot to ask, what are you studying? (sorry if you have told me previously)

I'm less paranoid it seems.. I'm studying a bit of everything (well, everything liberal arts, anyway) at the University of Idaho. I was too interdisciplinary even for the Interdisciplinary Studies major, so I'll end up with a silly General Studies degree (maybe minors in Spanish and Anthropology). Ah well. I'm 25 and it's about time I get around to graduating. However, grad school I'm determined to crash through in 2-3 years. I frankly have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm starting to get to the point where graduation is looking like a good idea as well, but I have no real idea what I'm doing either. To be honest I don't think anyone really has a good idea, we just go with the flow and see where it takes us.
Spanish and anthropology? Interesting combo. Any psychology sneaked into your course? (I ask as you seem to be taking a very humanian form of study)
Is grad school something seperate from uni? (says the confused brit)

Yeah..psychology, sociology, etc. I'm a social sciences as well. Or would like to think I am anyway .
OK, over here we have (supposedly) 4 years of college (university) after graduating from high school in order to get a bachelors. Then, another 2-3 years to get a masters. The really inspired can do another few years and get to call themselves 'Dr.'
Get around to? How old are you (if you don't mind saying)? You look like a rather ageless 20-something (in a very good way!).

Researcher PSG Posted Sep 6, 2003
People and social sciences are a very interesting area and diverse area, as the old saying goes "There is nowt(nothing) funnier than folk". Maybe you should get them to name your degree human studies rather than just general studies.
Ah yeah, we have similar, we just call it all university and describe the courses as post grad. (I think I was being a bit slow not to guess really)
Well, I'm a couple of years younger than you actually, but because I changed course all the people I started out with at uni have already graduated. So ageless 20-something still fits the bill (all compliments gratefully recieved).

*s morbidly* If I don't graduate this year, I don't think I'll be able to deal with myself - especially since my sister, who is 4 years my junior, will be graduating as well. I wonder what it was about turning 25 that ed me out so much . Of course, it might have something to do with having married someone *6* years my junior . I just keep repeating the 'I had extenuating circumstances' mantra.
So you are into computery things..any particular things or computer-related career goals?
