Was losing quite badly the race.
Well all gave a cheer,

And he put on significant pace.

Due to an unfortunate breakdown of track communications... day four results were not shown... but here they are today...
Day Four
Both the Kid and Bert are now in first place, but have not reached the finishing post yet... making race nine go into an unprecedented fifth day. Brains is close behind them... Yucky Pete is on Brains' heels... and Ace is still trailing behind...
Day Five...
...and finally in this very long race we have a winner... or two... Bert and Brains crosses the line together coming in first... The Kid just fails to reach the finishing line... Yucky Pete is fourth and still trailing... having had a terrible race is Ace... for a visual representation of the finishing positions and a list confirming the winners check out the main racing page A771167
Due to the lateness of the finish... there will not be a race held next week... but keep watching on Sunday 22nd September for the betting of Race Ten to open....
