Beginners' Game
Simetra Posted Apr 15, 2005
Is anyone playing this game at the moment, if not can I make the next move?

Chainsaw_Dan Posted Apr 15, 2005
As long as you are a beginner and don't employ Zaitsevs trigger then yes.
Beginners' Game
Simetra Posted Apr 15, 2005
well to be fair I'm not a beginner and know the Nid rule and the 221b rule so I wont play unless invited

bunnyfrog will never die Posted Apr 19, 2005
Why not? I'm playing. But since mine was technically the second to last move I can't drop one in yet

Simetra Posted Apr 19, 2005
OK since nobody else seems to be playing on this post lets proceed, how about Anagram Rules

I believe somewhere in vault in Broadcasting House there is a whole batch of M C games deemed too dangerous to be continued.

being a compleate newcomer, I will just butt in here with
Highbury and Islington.
I was afraid it might contravene the special circumstances for non-rainy non-sunday evenings (instated in 1537 after a particulay horrific incident with a small brown daffodil), however, I have checked thougherly and it is exempt because of the recently-revived 1720 sub-clause amounting to precisly the opposite occurance.

Hello!
Another relative newcomer to the game, here, but I've been reading up on the theory. I believe that there was a game between Doggett and Kraussman, the great Swede, sometime back in the twenties in which he used what he called a 'triple boomer' around Highbury and Islington and damn near took the roof off the place! I won't try that, I'll just sneak in a sliding steam pan to:
Chancery Lane
Tally Ho!

hi!
hmm, darstardly sneaky move there, avoiding the amendment to the 5th law of sidestepping, especially in triplicate, passed after said game between Doggett and Kraussmen to avoid any later occurances of of the booms and what they could mean for london. ...but how about
Canada Water.

Oh crikey.
Errrm..... well that's torn it.
I may have to try something somewhat sneaky and arcane.
Wapping.

Keseral - lost... Posted May 16, 2005
I say! how sneaky and Arcane can you get?!?!
hmm, reffering to the 1846 july eposode of episodic looping, I will go for the circular
High Street Kensington.

This is a very tactical game.
Ooh, hang on. Oh surely not! Yes, it's.....
MORNI.....
Oh no. I see what you've done there. Very clever. Used the 1811 West London subset of Rule 221b to cut off the points. Sorry. Schoolboy error on my part.
I'm going to have to use the street-level diversion to get to
Neasden
Your clever feint left me well out of position there.

I'll just slip in with a quick
Goodge Street - favourite move of Mr Rushton

Indeed. I remember when he used it in a game once which had to be abandoned shortly afterwards because a piano fell on the assistant referee. The French said it had been put there deliberately, of course, but I can't see it. A piano could fall on you at any station. random act of God, if you ask me.
Where to go from Goodge Street?
It's too close for a Kennington loop. The thing would be molten scrap by the time it got to Bank.
I'll bank it off and roll it to
Swiss Cottage
A containing safety, I think you'd call that.

Simetra Posted May 16, 2005
I'll open the game up leaving vertical options for transverse adjustments
Westminster (District or Jubilee depending on the busker)

It's that dope-addled madman with the glass eye and the swanee whistle who always tries it on with me because he thinks I'm some deity or other. I'm not habing around here.

tempted with Temple but I think you are a ringer and not just a beginner and would use Cryer Fall Over move to win from a broken Chad violation on the ticket so I am going to play a safety move with
Mudchute
