Now I'm going to be covered in cat fur!

Oh, well... It's been a long wait, perhaps we should all have a rest.


*lil begins to snuggle down. Within minutes she and 'the cat' are fast asleep*

*Curling on Lil's stomach, she kneads her friend with her claws a few times before going to sleep, one eye open and on the cart.*

hmmm, my stamina and MP are low, id better get some sleep too, night all!

*contemplates confronting the shadow creature again*
*notices ena glaring*
*goes back to sleep*

*yawns*

morning all, rise and shine!

alright, fine then

*goes outside to practice spells*

*wakes, stretching as she watched Inter practicing. Digging her claws into Lil, she meowed loudly.*

*startled by meowing, trips backwards, launching thunderbolt at shelter*

eek!

*Recognising the distinctive sound of a Thunderbolt lil is instantly awake. Grabing the feline Ena she exits the shelter minus her boots*

*Placing Ena on the cart, the now very angry lil draws one of her sharp knives and advances upon the hapless mage*

FOOL! Why didn't you set up protective boundaries? You could have killed us all!

*Although only 5' 4", lil somehow managed to look at least a foot taller as she drew nearer*

*In a menacing voice she said:*

Now tell me why I shouldn't just skewer you to the nearest tree!

What size boots do you wear?

*hissing angrily, she wriggles free of lil's arms and transforms back to her human form.*

What are you playing at?

*Frowning at the mage as lil advances on him*

If you can't control your magic, you don't deserve it.

IM the fool? who meows loudly at someone when theyre literally weilding thunder? thats almost as bad as shouting "boo" to someone preparing a teleportation potion! i have enemies you know! excuse me for being jumpy when i think no-ones awake!

*although putting on a tough front, inter nervously eyes lil's knife and remains ready to teleport should she advance*

*turns around with arms crossed*

dont get me wrong, im sorry for putting you in danger but i take no responcibility for what happened, besides, i can't use defensive shields, they're incompatible with lightning magic

Who says you can't use defensive shields?

*waves her knife downwards*

... Give me your boots. You destroyed mine!


*lil is standing ankle deep in cold, wet mud*

*sigh*

*hands over boots*

so where are you heading with this anyway

*gestures to kart*

*sits on the back of the cart, wiping her feet on a piece of the scattered canvas*

*grunts*.... Dunno, you'll have to ask the Royal Kitty here, about that! *Nods at Ena as she pulls on the boots*

Aha!! At least my coat has survived! *a smile brightens up lil's face*

*grabbing her coat, she checks her pockets*....


... Yep... All's safe... Now, see if we can salvage some food I'm starving!....

*Laughing as she watches poor Inter's boots being requisitioned by Lil, she pushes her friend off the back of the cart*

You don't want to sit there. Trust me.

*Arching a brow at Inter, she shook her head.*

I don't see that my destination is your business, why should I entrust my secrets to a mage who cannot even keep his own magic under wraps?

*wraps peices of burnt canvas around feet*

i dunno, because i asked very nicely? because i could help fend off any unfriendly visitors? because i maight be able to convince perse not to run away with your cart? (when she gets back)

*walks off into the woods in search of food*

*returns with a few apples*

you know what ena? you dont have to tell me what the creature in that cart is, i guess its none of my business

*produces a tool belt with a number of strange objects attatched*
*pulls out a device like a purple magnifying glass and holds up to eye*
*adjusts a dial on the bottom of the handle*

wow! been a while since ive seen one of THOSE!

There is no creature in there, and I don't see the need to show my personal belongings to every stranger on the road.

What are you looking at, anyway?

*hastily hides objects*

nothing! nothing! i dont have any device that allows me to see through certain materials! (like wood)
