With longer entry's you've correctly stated that you can either split them across 2 pages or shorten entries but there is a third option if you have the patience for it and that is to re-write the bottom section again and then update entry and then it all comes out in one piece.Unfortunately whenever you edit a piece of your entry you will have to do this so try to plan it all out on paper first and do as much as you can so that when you submit your article to a review forum there is not much that needs doing to it.
Good luck

I`d like to point out that if you do take the above advice, never press the preview button. It will erase all your hard work. Go straight to update.

*Waves* Hi Detective....long time no see....
And unless i'm mistaken..if you have the slightest error in GuideML..you'll loose your hard work through having to go straight to update..

Its a bit of a pain but you just have to make sure your guide ml is ok before you update and check it as you go.This is the method I've used and so far its worked ok.
I done the majority of the work on paper first includeing all the guide ml bits and then just put it in.I've only had to re-write the end about 2 or 3 times and its just a matter of copying what is written on my copy of text.

lmao..i make so many silly errors..that way just wouldn't have worked for me....the keyboard would've ended up taking flying lessons....
This edited entry of mine Wade Whimsies..@ A765119..(any excuse for a plug..)..was originally in 2 parts..the Sud-Editor put it together as just one entry..ok..it would have been easier if Whoami hadn't had to do that..but doing it in 2 parts doesn't restrict you from entering an entry in peer review..&..if your the kind of....person that makes a lot of errors..for your own sanity..do it in 2 parts..lol..
