No. It's this sort of huge, flat arm that comes off the right side of the desk.

Hi, Gnomon!
Sorry, I thought I took care of everything on your list except the link.
I've copied your new list to a wordfile and I will get to those things this evening after I return from viewing a movie at the High School with Shnookses German club.

Tonsil, do you not want to link to the other entry on Asperger's?

Did I put the wrong link in?

That's OK now Tonsil. I misunderstood your comment in posting 64.

A lovely entry!
There's still quite a lot of Americanisms in the text - 'Program' on a couple of occasions rather than 'programme', for instance. The largest volume of things that need looking at are the -ize/-ise endings, which by and large currently adopt the American spelling. If in doubt, make it -ise!
I'd very much like some further explanation or background to the legitimacy of the term 'Aspies'. When I first read the article, it seemed to me as though 'Aspies' might have been a term coined by you, rather than terminology that's been accepted by Asperger's Syndrome patients themselves. Speaking as a fully card-carrying lefty hand-wringing liberal, it took me ages to realise that I was 'allowed' to carry on reading the article without flinching every time I came across that word!
Brilliant work, though - this isn't far from the EG at all!
Paully

It's definitely an accepted term Paully; in fact it's pretty much a term of "pride in being different":

my gf refers to herself occationally as an aspie, so its probably acceptable
I don't think that its a n*gger type self-referential word

"Asperger's Syndrome patients"
I'll see what I can do about the "ize"s and "programs"
Aspies is a word chosen by the community as a friendly term, as the abbreviation AS is so embarrassing and the Asperger's word is often mispronounced as "ass-burgers" by the ignorant.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
