I broke a stupid tooth. It couldn't be saved so I'm having a bridge made. It won't be ready until March 27. In the meantime, I am a toothless hillbilly.

I think I'm almost permanently grumpy inside. I'm sick of having to pretend to be smiley to everyone- I just wanna scream! Can I sign up please? And then scream?

I think if you riffle thru PUDDING's pages you'll find something tailor made for you, Daizzy - the thread's called something like "Screams of Rage and Frustration" and all are free to have a good screech there
Very therapeutic, it is, too
Or you could just have a quick scream now and then join Pudding?
I don't think anyone'd mind
I wouldn't.
I'm too occupied being grumpy to mind anyone having a quick screech.

for reminding me about that screams thread, Evadne. It is a very useful, therapeutic thing which really should be brought back into use. In fact, I've just posted to it myself, so Daizzy should be able to find it very easily. Scream away, everyone!
Welcome on board, Daizzy. Help yourself to a P.U.D.D.I.N.G. badge. Anyone who says they dislike 'pathetic people', as you do on your page, should fit in very well around here. I must say, though, that your unusual approach to punctuation had me briefly wondering what 'sorbet languages' were!

that's not my fault, but thanks for pointing it out! I'll sort that out.

Mum-in-law died just before Christmas and hubby inherited her house. Three months on and the house still isn't clear so we can get work done on it. I was doing a little work each day, but my MS has relapsed, leaving me too weak and tired to do anything. I'd post this on the "Screams of rage..." thread, but I don't even have the energy for a virtual scream.

I do. But unfortunately, today is being a good day to me so far, and I don't have the grumpiness to scream. That's so annoying, I'll scream about that!

Please do. To make things worse, we went out shopping last night and the vision in my right eye went strange. I already have a dead patch in my left eye, so seeing anything was tricky. It cleared after a while, but it was scarey when it happened. Aside from listening to music, all my hobbies require my eyes. We're planning to turn at least one room in the house we inherited into a 'library'. Those plans would have to be scrapped, along with all my beloved books, if my sight went.

aaaaw, you poor thing! Losing your sight would definitely require a scream!
I've just finished 3 days of dancing shows I've been in, and now I'm exhausted, especially having just spent an hour trying to wash brown face paint out of my hair. Grrr! I need to scream. I will miss the shows, but I'm so exhausted now!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

a place for grumpy people? Sign me up.
I am permanently grumpy about *something* - today's target is the white vans that persist on plaguing me on my way to work. And my job makes me fairly grumpy too. My boss calls me and his wife (who also works with me) a pair of G.O.W.
Can I also please apply for my cat Rocco to be granted grumpy status, he is a whinging little beggar with an exceptionally loud and disgruntled 'meow', who wants eveything on his terms. Or else.

I've already signed up, but what was just said reminds me. My part-siamese cat Vanessa is a spoiled-yet-still-very-discontent cat who hates ALL other cats EXCEPT the strays who spray and come in to steal HER food. That makes me unhappy, and that it makes me unhappy makes her unhappy because she likes it. I think this deems her pretty appropriate for PUDDING.
I think I'm over to the 'Screams of Rage' thread for a bit, Does anyone wish to join?
MC
