Well, I'm glad you both are still with us.
Now, back to grumpy. What makes me grumpy is feeling obligated to be cheerful because it's Christmas.

They seem perfectly well adjusted *m-o-gs to me
*Miserable old g*ts
Yeah... on the whole Hypatia, I'm pretty glad we're both here, too - oh, and PBS as well

not feeling grumpy as much as sad and upset. Why is it that one of the people I trust more than anything doubts me? They felt that I was being untruthful when all I've been is honest and I thought they realised that. I've now realised that they're going to doubt me and wonder if I have a hidden agenda. I know why but upset because this is me and I wouldn'd do that type of stuff.
I also feel really alone right now and I'm wondering if this is how its always going to be? Whether I'm always going to feel so alone and if so how do I even begin to deal with it?
Meh. Sometimes life is rotten.

Welcome to P.U.D.D.I.N.G., nollyo. You're always welcome to come here for a good grumble. Here's a belated Christmas box
and a selection of drinks. Help yourself!

I'll second that.
I'm tired of people around me stopping me when I'm going somewhere (which annoys me) and then telling me I should smile (which also annoys me.) I'm here to do something about it and get those persistent people OFF of my BACK.
I'll smile when I'm happy and that should be good enough, even though I'm not happy at all.
Non-emotion is what I prefer. Most of the time I don't smile or frown, but people still tell me to smile. It hurts to smile, so I just let my face muscles relax and veg out.

You know, I had someone positively *ordering* me to smile the other day. OK, we were rehearsing a musical theatre show and he was the choreographer - but is that a good enough reason, I ask you?
Anyway, Mind, I note that you're not on the P.U.D.D.I.N.G. membership list. Would you like to be?

My girlfriend is making me at the moment. But at least she isn't ordering me to be happy. She's just being teenage female.

Actually, I would, if you don't mind. That's why I posted in the first, second, and possibly third place. Take your time, though.

Ormy, are you going to the London Meet? I don't want to be stuck there with nothing but cheerful people.

Welcome on board, mindchatham. I've looked at your Personal Space, and I think you should know that there's a 'h' in 'whoops!'
Hyp - , but I have a dissertation to write, so I won't be going to London. I like what you've done with your nickname, though. That's the spirit!
But what's so special about March 27?
