I read your article with interest and would love to help you with some of the English if you like.

As for content, I wonder whether you could give a little more detail on his transition from academic, through public figure and media commentator (apparently, you only hint at this) to leading politician, able to form his *own* party and apparently become an almost instant national political force.

Perhaps even a little more on his earlier life. This is debatable, but many would like to have this kind of bio info, if only to draw conclusions that suit their pre-conceived ideas.

This leads me to the fact that I think this is the kind of piece it is important to take care with. A controversial political figure in troubled times.

So, if you like, we could have a crack at this, I'd be glad to discuss any changes you want to make.

Hi,

Yes, I'm Dutch. The English in the article could indeed use some polishing up, but I haven't had the time lately (I will in a couple of weeks).

I'm also awaiting the outcome of the forming of the government coalition before proceeding with the article. In contrary to Britain it is namely very common in Holland to have coalitions of more than two political parties. The Lijst Pim Fortuyn is playing an important role in this and it would be usefull to include the impact Pim Fortuyn had on the Dutch politics even after his death.

I also have to do some more research on the person behind Pim Fortuyn. I will be doing that the next couple of weeks. When I need some people to check my English and help me with the article, I will certainly ask! Thanks for the offer!
