Seems to be just Bossel, Marijn
Linda/Blues and Tube are by train - so we'll collect them from the station. pheloxi will also be by train or bus I assume.
As Tm says - we don't eat people we just shoot them. - poor political joke!

At what time are Linda & Blues arriving? I would try to match that time to save some hassle.
Digging up an old joke from the last US presidential elections:
The Yanks should shoot their president, not elect him.... at least they know how to do that.

We hadn't got a definite time to arrive yet Tube - sometime early evening I was thinking. What time would be good for you?
Shazz kindly emailed me all the details and a map.

Good for me? Pfffft! Who cares? I'm not the main attraction and party object.
Anyway. If I remember correctly it was something like 6 pm, but I think there were trains running just about every hour or so.
Yeah, I got the Shazz-travel-carefree-pack as well

~grin~
Looks like there's no way out of it for me now, since I'm already signed up
Will definitely be there, and the evening in Het Kasteel is always a nice one to drop by, with all the bands playing there

Bossel, I think an arrival between 15.00 and 16.00 will be fine.
A bit later, and we will be stuck in the rush-hour, much earlier and we have to beg Shazz for computertime whilst waiting for the others.

Okay, I'll see to that.
However, unless KLM can be bothered to answer my query I see a change of plans coming up. Lufthansa wants to charge some 420€ for the trip, m&m included I've flown to NEW YORK for less than that! The Deutsche BA offers transportation too ... via Birmingham, at 1000+ € . KLM charges 250€ which isn't cheap but well, okay. But they only offer tickets *outbound* from Amsterdam and *back*, and haven't answered yet to my email asking for a ticket the other way round. This much to the customers' benefits of the alliance.
Did anybody mention that airlines face problems after the 9-11 event? I could provide another reason: they can't compete against going by car.

How are the plans going, Bossel? Flying or driving these days?

Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted May 23, 2002
It's 'driving' -- KLM doesn't respond to my query why they don't offer flights *from* Munich and back (they only do it the other way), and Lufthansa / Deutsche BA etc are charging the equivalent of a firstborne child. I had hopes to pick up Engländer or Hell but that doesn't seem to materialise.

Have you considered the train Bossel?
The ICE International runs seven times a day and the EuroCity twice a day from Amsterdam Central to Düsseldorf in 2 hours 15 minutes. You can also board the train at Utrecht or Arnhem.
Or you can go to Düsseldorf via Heerlen, Venlo or Hengelo.
Return
2nd:66,80
1st:102,40
Weekend return
2nd:40,20
1st:61,60
You would qualify for the Weekend return as far as I can see.
We are nearest to Utrecht...
