How are you enjoying the Raptor?

She's a little beauty, I'll tell you that! Called her Lily; it just seemed to fit. I've only sat on the young lady so far, but she feels pretty comfortable. Getting a feel for her quite nicely with starting her up and shifting into first. Riding 101 is being taught to me this week by a friend of mine, Scythe one of the Talliesin Brotherhood and a bike mechanic. So I'm in good hands at this end.

Just thought I'd post a little update, as I've not been on here for soooo long.

I now have my CBT, and I've riden the lovely Lily-Rose (I renamed her after a significant amount of maintenance, and after deciding that she maybe didn't like her old name, as she had a tendency to be a bit moody..) rather a bit - she's come all the way from Warrington, Cheshire down to Bristol, Avon. I did that ride in 2 parts, and I've already experienced the kiss of tarmac - lesson learnt: never ride a bike with buggered lights in the dark...

And we're doing the reverse journey tomorrow! All is well with her, after few hundred quid's worth of repairs.. damn second hand bikes. I'm looking forward to taking her on that long and pleasant journey again!
