A Conversation for Talking Point: Feet
dancing feet

As a keen dancer, my feet are extremely important to me. I try to keep the cracked skin under control with a tub of shea butter lotion that I keep in my desk at work, so I can give them a little TLC whenever I have a spare 5 minutes. And I give them plenty of breathing space, either barefoot or in Crocs.
My shoe collection is legendary - over 40 pairs last time I counted!
A good foot massage is heaven, but it's hard to get the pressure just right: too light and it's ticklish, too strong and it's painful.
And why are the hairs on one's big toe the most painful thing to pluck???

And, for that* matter... Why are there hairs on the big toe? Seems such an utterly pointless place for the things

We're all becoming hobbits - it's the only explanation!
(Except possibly that we were descended from them. Or maybe apes, or something)
