They carry our weight, faithfully, up hill, down dale, but do they really ever get the love they deserve? It's a sad fact but often feet, especially as we age, are considered the ugly-bugglys of the body, sorely neglected, way down there at the bottom of our legs; an unsightly extremity. Now of course you may well have the feet of a cherub, all painted nails and feline curves. But lots of us have less than glamorous-looking plates of meat1, with flaky skin, crumbly nails, fallen arches, creaky bones and Hobbit-like hairy toes.

However, this week we're attempting to celebrate all things feet. Let them be more than just a footnote. Let them tip-toe, nay, pirouette into the spotlight. Tell us about your faithful feet.

  • How would you describe your feet? Do you like them?

  • Are feet really the most neglected part of our bodies? Do you often get tired feet?

  • Do you care for your feet? Have you ever had a pedicure?

  • Have you ever had reflexology?

  • Do you like adorning your feet with jewellery, fancy socks, beautiful shoes?

  • Do you even know what your feet look like?

1'Plates of meat' = feet - Cockney Rhyming Slang.
