Golberg's First Principle of Theoretico-Semantic Obfuscationism: Anyone with a simple theory will give it a complicated name in order to sound clever.
Or of that's too long:
"Be as cunning as the serpant, but as harmless as the dove".
Best wishes

Its a very strange one, but if its Ok with you could I have a brick the reads:
Test Question from Topanga Cabal The Twelve famous Buddha minds school: If they are our brothers, how come we can't eat them?
or, 'Move along now, Nothing to see here.'

Now that I've destroyed my reputation with that Alphabet Sentence, can I attempt redemption with a brick?
"You're part of all this. Take a few proud steps on Mankind's Glorious Road".
It's a brilliant idea by the way!

Hiya Greebo
Thanx for the Brick!
Only trouble is, not long after I posted, I got an e-mail from Lion (first time in months) chastising me for not posting something else...
What Lion says should have been on the brick (and which I agree is a lot better than my suggestion) is...
"Whenever we write, our imagination flies.
Ours is a modest craft.
Douglas Adams built the Heart of Gold."
Now I need to give some explanation. (I'm not boring you, am I? Cats just look like that when posts start to drag, yeah?)
Anyway...I first found h2g2 at the suggestion of a friend who was already a Researcher. When I first posted, she found me very quickly, but only ever e-mailed me stuff outside h2g2. I used her stuff (it was better than most of mine) under the nickname of "Lion", making it read as a second character sharing my Space - but there's no Researcher calling themselves Lion. I still don't know who my friend is within h2g2.
Exciting, innit? (You still awake, there?)
So you could either :
1. Say "Go away you repulsive little marine mammal; you've had your brick".
or :
2. Change the brick to say the above (in which case it should say Lion, not Pinniped)
or :
3. Add it as another brick, for Lion
or :
4. Do something else too clever for me to have thought of
I'll leave this tough choice up to you (meanwhile, have a )
Of course, if you know who Lion is, I'd like to know...at least I think I would...
P.
(Hey! YOU'RE not Lion, are you? Kind of a cat, after all. Not very likely, though, since it was me who picked the name Lion, and you were here long before. Just a thought...)
