People? Like who? I'd say that was only true of people who don't use it, or people who just have no common sense... which to be fair is probably a large percentage of the current population. Hmmm.... smiley - erm Why don't they have "Common Sense" leassons at schools? smiley - bigeyes

smiley - cool

They do. It's called 'PSE' (at my old school, anyway), which stands for Personal and Social Education. Bleah. Still, they were much the best lessons to do homew*rk in.

Precisely!!! smiley - erm

PSE Leassons were an excuse to doss around and wind up the teachers cos they were teaching a load of trash, that didn't make sense!!! I bet half the teachers them selves could have done with common sense leassons! smiley - grr Why don't people have common sense anymore? And why are people so careless, kids generally are unaware of the effect they have on the rest of society and completely ablivious to disipline... smiley - sadface

Good Lord, I remember those lessons! Except it was called PSHE in my school (Personal Social and Health Education).

Heavens, were they boring. But yes, many a homework assignment was completed in the time given. smiley - winkeye

Oh, and you should've seen a just-slightly-too-young mother and father on the bus on the way home from college today. I won't go into the details, but I daren't imagine how they treat their children at home. smiley - erm

Yeah, they're very fond of thier H's in Winchester... smiley - winkeye

There's nothing wrong with having children when your young... just so long as that it has both parents, and they're in a situation where they can love and support their child. And if it wasn't just a "mistake" which will give the kid a complex! smiley - erm

Anyway, if we want to discuss social issues, could we do so in the main thread, else It'll just confuse me, when I try and figure out who's coming.... smiley - silly

Ah, it was in Chandlers Ford, my school. smiley - winkeye

And I wasn't arguing against young parents as a whole. It's just this couple... they just had no idea how to behave. Well, OK, neither do I really, but I can be quite sure when I see something wrong. smiley - winkeye

A place is only nice, if the people there are nice, otherwise, what's the point of the place? smiley - winkeye

Chandlers Ford is the richest and nicest place in the area! We're better than Eastleigh, for starters.
But then, everywhere is. smiley - winkeye
