Vidmaster - A Pebble in the Pond

I'm willing to do an article on Monty Python on DVD, as well as one on John Cleese. Let me know what you think, and I'll get started.

Great! smiley - smiley It's possible that Shee (U185837) might want to write a John Cleese entry when he's finished with Fawlty Towers (A701894), but he never seemed too keen on the idea! I've dropped him a note on the Fawlty Towers entry saying that you've volunteered as well, so I'll see what he says. If you could start on the 'Python on DVD' article in the meantime, and let me know the article number, that would be very helpful!

smiley - cheers

smiley - sadface Please, I am waiting for something on John Cleese before I can put Fawlty Towers into PR... He's sorta, well, necessary... Could I please try to hurry you along a bit? smiley - erm

(BTW, as UP entries don't get quite 'edited' in the PR sense of the word, do their A-numbers change when they are edited? So all my links to this UP--will they be allowed stay if I say that it is a University Project? smiley - erm I am hopeless with these interrelationships...)

Come on Vidmaster, how's John Cleese coming along..? smiley - smiley

As for UP A numbers, they do stay the same - they get transferred to the Subeditor as they are, rather than a new page being created.

Hope that helps... smiley - smiley

Well... What it means is that I really *do* have to wait on Vidmaster's entry... Which might be good, and might be bad... smiley - winkeye

Thanks Danny smiley - smiley

Hi Shee smiley - smiley

I've decided to write the John Cleese entry myself - it's at A736382 if you want to link to it from your Fawlty Towers entry.

Vidmaster - A Pebble in the Pond

I'm back...sorry about not getting the stuff done, but I've been either gone or away from the internet for most of the last month. I can have the python on DVD article up tonight, at least roughly, if there's still time before the project gets sent to PR.

Hi Vidmaster smiley - smiley

The current deadline for the project is still 7th May, and Ormondroyd is finishing off his Eric Idle piece, so there's plenty of time for you to get your DVD article written. Sorry about stealing John Cleese - feel free to comment on the article smiley - smiley

It's good to have you back on board smiley - biggrin

smiley - cheers

Hi Vidmaster smiley - smiley

Just to let you know that I've sent the articles so far off for subbing. Don't panic though! If you still want to write your DVD article, I'm sure it can be added to the list - I imagine it'll take some time for SchrEck to get through subbing 18 articles smiley - winkeye

smiley - ok
