Tau? more advanced? Wrong?
Mackeral Posted Jul 8, 2002
Of course the Tau r more advanced than the Eldar. The Eldar have Big gunz as well. The tau use big gunz because they feel that killing an enemy from range, quickly and swiftly, is more civilised.
Thats why the Tau hire the Kroot. They handle the firepower whilst the kroot go and masacre the enemy.
Have u actually read the Tau Codex?

I don't know what ur goin on about. U say that war is not an Orkish blood bath to the Eldar. Most of the time they r the cause of it!
What do u mean "They don't like Big Gunz" They've got the biggest of them all! Hello, Fire Prism ring a bell?!
The tau have big weapons but they make much less mess than u guys!
Maybe u should re think ur verdict?
I dont believe that advanced is the word, more, Civilised.
Technologicly advanced or what? Who out there agrees with me?
Tau? more advanced? Wrong?

To be frank, i think Eldar kick Tau arse! If any one agree's with me, please talk to me. Tau may have fantastic.... amazing... big.... cool troops and guns but Eldar have wkd long range weapons and are super-naturally fast.
please talk to me, if you agree with me!!!

Mackeral Posted Jul 9, 2002
I feel that some of what u is sayin is true, The Eldar r very powerful and hav loads of cool stuff. Crystal Targeting Matrix! Good God!
The Tau also have their own stuff Tau jetpacks Crisis Suits (Now come on there arent many armys that have suits of armour 5 times the size of the average man) Railgun Falcon grav tank No chance!
To a certain extent I agree with u Yes the Eldar r very High tech
But they r nuthin in comparison to the Tau

WOAH!! Weird multiple postings there...
It all depends on what perspective you look at this really.
To me I feel that the Chaos possessed weapons like daemon swords are more advanced than a power weapon. It's not more TECHNOLOGICALLY advanced, but I'd rather carry a daemon weapon than a power sword.
Tau and Eldar use different types of technology. The Eldar focus more on Shurikan and Plasma weapons, whilst the Tau use laser, pulse and oh, Plasma weapons, oh. Who has the better plasma weapon?
Tau? more advanced? Wrong!!!!!

The Tau are like the guys from Starship Troopers; they can shoot up a storm, but get 'em in a melee and they're worm food!

Deep strike with swooping hawks and warp spiders, stick your striking scorpions in a wave serpent and then eat the Tau line.

Anybody seen the 40k Daemon preview in the new WD?
They are sooooooo bad! Horrors are pathetic, Bloodletters have power weapons.
No no, i don't think you understand! Horrors now have the same combat prowess of a Tau!!!
