OK, this is me introducing my favourite hobby horse - the insistence of the Guide guidelines on entries being "factual".

Philosophically, it can be shown that virtually nothing is factual, but that's a bit too dry for RL usage! Nevertheless, there are many major topics - religion and politics to name but two - that cannot be discussed under the existing guidelines. Well, I suppose one could write "B. Eelzebub founded the Church of Satan on 12th February 1473", in the style of a typical history book (i.e. tedious and not very informative), but what use is that?

I believe that such topics, about which nothing substantial can be said without expressing an *opinion* (gasp! ), belong in the Guide. I assume you lot agree? Or do you have a different agenda?

That was the thing about the original guide, and what was said about it in the book's introduction - it wasn't a book based on fact but a book that could be wildly inaccurate on occasion, (or silly, or stupid, or strange, or make no sense what-so-ever). When people come here they kind of know that...

I have to agree - we should split the guide into Life, The Universe, Everything, and Everything Else. Well, I reckon anyway...
