Correction: " . . . several loons and one dude who calls himself Tacsatduck, who was also wearing a towel at the time."
Anyway, yes, we made it . . . and the hot dogs were wonderful. I had two with ketchup (shows I'm from New Jersey, there, no mustard for me!), and they were very yummy. Thanks muchly for the recommendation.
Id, who can't wait for the next meet

Glad you had a good time, Id.
Maybe I'll be at the next meet.
The retirement party that I had to arrange
went off well Saturday night. The caterers
actually arrived on time with the food,
the guests were mostly on time (except for
the guest of honor ).
Tacsatduck is not a loon. He's more of a duck.

I'm glad your party went well, Paul!
We had lots of fun making fun of things at the Met! We didn't go to the respectible jazz club as planned afterwards, since half the group got "parented", those of us left found another one of our infamous sleazy dives, and had a lovely time watching a very drunk couple alternate spilling their drinks and flashing each other. Then we went to a great place for many desserts, and then had dinner.

You certainly did ... watching the woman floor the guy in the nether regions while they were dancing was rather entertaining, though ...

I bet you like really gross movies, don't you Shea...
Actually next time everyone is here we'll have to make a dive circuit so we can compare them properly...

We did! Mind you, deciding between 350 desserts was very difficult ...
Pub crawl!!! I have friends who'd go on a Hell's Kitchen pub crawl once a year. Now *that* was interesting ...

That's right.. you two had an early morning .. did you survive it?
I'm looking at probably moving sometime by summer. Once I get into a roommate free zone we'll have to do a pub crawl.

I woke up at 3:30am and heard the rain pounding on the roof. I decided I didn't want to stand outside in the rain. I called my brother, and we tried the online and telephone route. The Mets have now charged $100 to his credit card, but now have no record of his transaction. *sigh* I don't know about opening day this year ...

Shea the Sarcastic Posted Feb 24, 2002
That's on my mac.com account. If you want me to put yours on there with mine, you can always email them to me, and I could put them up for you.
