Oh, little pile of chromosomes,
how tall we've seen thee grown!
From in your chair across the room,
a chunk of cake you've thrown!
And in thy dim eyes shineth,
the hope of thoughts unknown,
and in our fears across the years,
you've picked us like a bone.
Ahh...it's Saturday. Best I can do.

Which came first,
the chicken
or the egg?
In your case,
it's anybody's guess!
Chorus:
Gratifying parturition celebration on your part!
Gratifying parturition celebration on your part!
We predict a succession of similar celebrations,
and we hope that you are fortunate in that respect!
One of the blessings
of human gestation
is the hidden nature
of the transformation.
But once you're born,
anyone can see
whatever process
is going on.
While it's true that
you no longer wet the bed,
I have it on good authority,
that there's still
some damp parts on your head.
So, on this day more
than any,
we gather with cake and
punch and spoon,
and while we wish you well,
we truly wish you'd get
better, soon!
