Stu, since you're a Keeper of 60's style music, and posted on a poetry appreciation forum, How about a degree in songwriting for your monster? If he has a lot of arms, he could play more than one instrument, or you could make him a music professor. Just check with Dragonfly and she'll tell you how to get a doctorate for him in Music.
Also, Dancer will tell you what you need to do if you want your monster to get a computer science degree or dance. He also works up curriculum for law inforcement.
Your actions on the H2G2 earn your monster his degree. By posting on the poetry appreciation forum you earned a credit in poetry. By getting a keeper title, you earned one in music. I can combine these to offer you an associate degree in songwriting. Or you can tell us where you want to go with the monster, and we'll tell you what we need you to do.

You can have more than one degree. We need you to specify which you want, and we'll tell you how to qualify. For now, he has an associate of arts degree in songwriting, if you like that.

sorry i was a bit vage

err yae a degree in songwrittin sounds cool he likes to play the giutar but as u can see as well as my spelling he isnt very good but hopefully that will come in time

he has 4 arms and 4 legs which comes in handy whenevr he needs to run away

i think that songwrittnig will be right up his street

as for programmers corner why not if you can do more than one degree at the same time
