In my new bod role as Lit. teacher, just noticed a grammatical error! smiley - winkeye the bit

"he/she/it's"

should read

"he/she/its"

because there's no apostrophe in the possessive pronoun... smiley - silly

So, should we work on the cyllabus(?spelling?) for the Dance, Law Enforcement and Computer Sciences?

I think CS 101 should have GuideML Tasks and HTML ones (onest that are supported here).

smiley - ghost put in suggestion for cs101. let me know and I'll put your requirements up. You choose the courses, and decide if a monster has met the qualifications in a degree for your area. I need a degree for Snaggletooth, my moat Monster, in Computer sciences and one in Law enforcement. That way, when I finally fire up the Haunted castle, I've got someone for security. Also, Red Dog has an atack Poodle that should be trained. I'll put him through the course for certification if you tell me what the attack poodle needs to do. It's a vocational training kind of thing, So mybe you should have him Do sentry duty for a researcher other than Red Dog...
I can't find the zero grav dancespace, so we'll have to do Dancing 101 at someone else's fan club. Do you want me to send Snaggletooth over for dance class? He should be able to use this in keeping in shape and anger management. Or, maybe a zero grav chamber either on your page or on university grounds...

I think the Zero Grav Dancespace is best placed at the Musehome, as this is the mother sourse of all dancing smiley - biggrin

Well, the first chord in the law enforcement is to watch over some researcher space for 6 hours (a standard shift), and supply information and personal observations at the end for all movement made in this time.
Report will include a list of all researchers visiting the space at the time, any changes made to the space, and any New Jurnal Entries.

The entries and thread subscription of the user are not a part of the assignment.

Once you have someone that needs to do thism I'll suply a user name and U126945 to watch.

Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde

I was just going to volunteer Terpsichore Dance Hall http://www.bbc/co/uk/h2g2/guide/A427349 as the zerogravity dance space... but Dancer beat me to it... I will have to fix up the facility and officially open it... this is all very exciting!!!!

Just the other day, I found this entry on my recent guide entries... hee hee... smiley - tongueout Uhhhh.... so.... I'm here... took me awhile!!! smiley - winkeye

And for lunches, the Iris Cafe http://www.bbc/co/uk/h2g2/guide/A517934 and Englander's Musehome Bakery http://www.bbc/co/uk/h2g2/guide/A596315 will donate/deliver food for the students and staff. YAY!!! smiley - winkeyesmiley - hug Affy, another muse, is also working on The Grecian Urn, a Greek-style restaurant with a salad bar, and that establishment will probably also help out with food deliveries... maybe I should ask E before I volunteer his bakery to make baked goods for the Monster Uni... hee he ehee.... smiley - tongueout

Also, if they want to write home, there is the Hermes Messenger Service.... http://www.bbc/co/uk/h2g2/guide/A472501

Ok, and the Dance Hall gets you to Clio's Library of History, but that's available for Monsters to do research and homework at... ::sigh::

Let's try the Terpsichore Dance Hall... one more time!!! smiley - yikes

http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A427367

I also want to get Thalia's School of Comedy on the ground... http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A427439 Sadly, Jester was going to be a big part of it, and he';s not been on h2g2 for a LOOONG time... smiley - sadface At least not talking to me... Boo hoo hoo... smiley - sadfacesmiley - cry And it's not really appropriate to Monster University. But since we're all of an educational bent, maybe one of you can provide some imput or inspiration... time providing, of course.... smiley - winkeyesmiley - hug

smiley - ghost D, we've got a researcher interested in music. His name is stu and his monster is 18 years old and named Chad. I've offered him an associate degree in songwriting based on a post in a poetry appreciation forum and his title as keeper of 60's style music, but I can only hand out associate degrees. You can give out bachelors and masters degrees in music and the arts, and Dancer is the Dance master.
Y'all give out the advanced degrees.

What's the process for handing out degrees? Do we swoop along to people's... sorry, monsters' spaces and say 'Hello, I'm XYZ of Monster Uni and I hereby award you the degree of ABC'?

Also - do people have to nominate themselves, or do we scout around for prospective candidates? smiley - smiley

I don't think that all monsters have their own userpage... I suggest we hold graduation ceremonies... Yearly, or twice a year.... and we can really advertise it... gain some attention to the university...
