Me neither, I might give it a go blind without finding out anything.
Always good for a laugh!

<< My viewing of it was probably not ideal anyway cos I hate the way Sci-Fi and other cable channels show the each episode half a dozen times and overlap them. >>
Sounds like you're taking too much advantage of cable channels repetition of programming. I watched every week on a Monday night at 10pm... and never missed an episode or got too confused. 'Heroes' provides a great diversion and a storyline of many threads and characters that - over time - seem to have a singular destiny: and, no... that isn't a spoiler. Really.

Well for my Heroes was amazing.
Yet another example of how our cousins across t'pond have become comprehensivly better than us at making tv. That is not to say we dont do good stuff (Life on Mars, Dr Who) but generally they knock the spots of us especially at drama.
Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Wire, Lost, Heroes, Battle Star Galactica, House.
And we get Holby City Blue.... shesh!

Then again, if I had a choice between Jekyl and Brothers and Sisters I'd take Jimmy Nesbitt any day. For the most part we only see the better shows from the US, we don't see all the dross - and there is a lot of it

I dont doubt that, but their top drawer flag ship drama trounces ours.

Hmmmm... now don't get me wrong I liked Torchwood. And the truth is I am looking forward to the new series.
But I don't really think it can be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of The Wire, Sopranos and Deadwood.

dunno that it trounces ours. But a bigger industry can produce more shows. What would be interesting is to see a good/bad/indifferent percentage rating for the UK and US TV industry.
The problem there is that good/bad/indifferent is subjective (e.g. I didn't think sopranoes, the wire, six feet under or lost were very good).
