DA ; Simply Vicky: Don't get pithy with me!

Indeed! A guy I knew, Bruce G., found a copy of an early Dr Who story at a garage sale here in Auckland, and tried a bit of blackmail, he wanted thousands of £s or he would do something with it (I'm not sure what.) But the Beeb appealed to his better nature.

I can't imagine it's going to be all action either
I think they will stick to the idea's and characterization formula that made the original series such a hit .

One character I don't want to see back though is

K9

I always found him a bit irritating.

May favorite Doctor was jon pertwee.

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

I doubt we'll be seeing K9, it wouldn't work in modern sci-fi.

On the plus side though, a K9 toady would be able to go faster than 0.1mph.

I'm not really here

K9 was the only reason I watched Dr Who when I was a kid. And Peter Davison when he appeared.

A Super Furry Animal

I'd like to see a K9 toady.

RFsmiley - evilgrin

p.s. What *is* a K9 toady?

It's a metal dog that goes 'ribbet ribbet'.

Oh, Mina, not another one of those strange people that think PD had sex appeal. He was so... *wet*.

He was still a bit pathetic. I think it was his age. He'd definitely improved with time.

He might have been a crap Doctor, but I thought he was lovely - for reasons that probably make more sense these days. smiley - loveblush Oh good grief I hope it doesn't turn out that he was Doctor when I was 20 or something. smiley - blush

Err, 82 to 84, I think.

I didn't think he was a crap Doctor, I don't think any of them were. He just didn't rate on my 'fanciable' scale, that's all.

Oh that's a relief. I was about 13 then. I obviously liked my men pathetic then, cos he was a bit pathetic as Tristan too.

Well if you have to wait to get Dr Who in New Zealand then you might as well get it off BitTorrent. Well, I guess it depends whether you have a decent monitor or a TV-out card.

Mol - on the new tablet

Micky, the Kelly Holmes idea just made me laugh out loud for the first time today, so thank you for that.

I tried to watch the trailers tonight & it said we can't see them on the net until next Tuesday smiley - cross

Sent my brother in SA the link though & I've saved last week's RT for him too.

Mina - share entirely your feelings about PD. Seems rather strange now, though.
