Bill Bailey is a genius. Eddie Izzard is also a genius but of a different Moose. Eddie Izzard does suffer somewhat from recycled gags though. Although apparently he has addressed this in his most recent tur / video. neither as good as Jasper Carrot when he is on form (although very rare these days, but I didn;t see his gigs in brum recently so who knows?). Or that irish lad that looks like Darlene, erm, Ed Byrnes, thats the fella.

Oirish chap, looks like Darlene as has been said (scarily close) - usually ends up compering comedy shows on the telly rather than starring in them

Yeah, can;t remember who I was talking to on here who is involved with comedy clubs but they were saying that one of the reasons popular comedians disappear is that they suddenly start getting offered voice overs (which Ed Byrnes has done) and compere jobs which pay a lot better and involve less prep work. You can see why they would be tempted!
