Ah no, none of those. It was the rather lovely shores of Peregian beach, about ten minutes south of Noosa. Sunshine, surfing, fishing, boule on the beach, and suitable quantities of refreshing amber liquid.
However, it was p**sing down on the way up the coast and my bike had developed an electrical problem (leaking splitter cap). Ah well, probably better that I left her at home anyway...

Perhaps you could 'be-friend' Amy the - she seems to be the one to get past in order to get the smiley moving...Sort of executive secretary?

[wonders: How many people do you think campaigned for an smiley before Amy got hers...?]
Sings: "I was just sitting here thinking..."

You're forced to - otherwise there's far much of your retirement left over when you top it!
Sombre note:
My Father-in-law put off a chest operation for over five years until he retired. (He didn't want to inconvenience his university faculty by taking six weeks sick leave) He retired at the end of November, had the op at the end of January and never recovered conciousness, dying on the 8th February. His retirement had lasted 69 days!

if I confused you - this was four years back!
is over it by now, although she still misses him terribly every now and then.
MIL has become totally unbearable - she and I do not sit down at the same table now! She won't enter our house if I am home...(Another story, another time!)
