I wouldn't think so, they're a totally different entity.

Not thaqt this does not mean to say they are not actually striking aswell BTW......I'll find out from those that actually use the tube (I normally find out about the strikes ont he day, when the workplace becomes a re-incarnation of the Marie Celeste!)

From a passing notice board this morning, SWT strikes are Monday Tuesday only, the tube is free of strikes, at the mo' but there are discussions being held that may lead to some, and I don't know about anywhere else. Sounds like we should be okay for Saturday though.

Because you need to have a railway to have a strike.
Train strikes would be much better than having a certain Doctor whose infamous phobia of railways made him order that all the really useful railway lines be destroyed for all time, leaving us with no proper public transport network.
