Of course your brother's welcome to come along too! 
Anyone can bring along a friend even if they're not even on h2g2. Especially if it's your first time on h2g2 it can be a bit daunting to come alone. It's always best to prepare the friend well though. Otherwise the talk of 'Nice to see you again, Lost!' or 'Well Flying Ostrich, how's it been going?' can seem a bit weird. Totally normal to us of course...
