Dunno what's started this, but I was in the fire service and Decontam was part of the drill.

You may not like me for this....but I crewed a "Green Goddess" in the late seventies.

That's ok, I was a retained fireman.

You must have gone through the same training as a regular Firefighter. Why not write an artice about it?

Or write an article about "basic home firefighting knoweledge".
or some such line?

(you know, escape plan, get out! stay out!, know your prevention!,
know your dangers!, train the Family to escape! and this sort of thing)

If I can ask you "to share the knoweledge"!!!!!!!!

I've had some training, but I would _*never*_ "like" to go into a live situation!

If you could impart your knoweledge to other h2g2'ers, this is the sort of thing h2g2 is all about, let others know about your knoweledge.

I'd welcome help. Right after I laid out the structure for this article things got hectic in real life, and I became over extended very quickly.

I'm very interested in hasty decons and protection. I have a few tips from some training that I've been though, but I'm always interested in more.

I continually hope to get back to this soon, but I have another article I need to finish for another person's project before I get back to this.

Could I add an article to this on "The Legality of Nuclear Weapons", I was planing to write an entry on the Advisory Opinion with respect to "Legality of the Threat or Use of Nuclear Weapons" reached by the International Court of Justice on 8 July 1996 anyway.
