The lag is minimal at the moment, but when posting to a conversation like this one it takes a very long time to update 1000+ conversation lists when the server is generally busy.

I'm still getting "no new posts" for at least one new thread which I definitely haven't viewed.

I've posted 5 messages now, not one is showing in the postings list nor are any replies so whatever has been done ain't worked obviously.
I'm off till its sorts, just no point in trying to do anything.

OK, the solution was obvious after a few second's thought. So I think I've now fixed it for all incarnations of the conversations list. It was behaving differently on the personal space than the moreposts page, which is why I didn't see it going wrong when I checked.
Let me know if it's still going wrong (unless it's just -1 new posts, which we know about and can't fix yet).

"Is this 'just' a minus one posting or is it more?
Like we have noticed before, new threads seem to lag more then running threads. This particular one was started before the last tweak.
It is a little more then four hours behind while I see conversations posted just now. (even newer threads)"

Would it help if i start a new "Eye" thread? I do realise it gets very long & every now & then i ditch it & create a new one. No probs; i tell everyone & they just move over.

Terri, I mentioned the eye thread as an illustration because i knew i had many posts to it over a long period of time. The fault is corrected now and was nothing to do with the thread speciafically, it was just a good illustration of the fault.

No, the servers didn't crash. SSO really was down for that long. As soon as it comes back, our servers immediately start behaving. Our hamsters know what they're doing.
