I suspect it is already gaining a notoriety all of its own...
Mu B is not the only one on site to have spotted a filthy connotation
Don't have a clue either BTW

When I say that those smileys don't work in Plain skin, I mean they all have a strong dark blue background, so it is hard to see them, when all other smileys have a white background.

Have to admit i was never entirely happy with the and smileys
its very difficult working that small and for some reason i couldn't get a smooth curve, they either ended up as octagons or diamonds.

No need to apologise, Ged - I'm sure they'll see plenty of heavy usage!
Personally, I've never really been a Smiley-Junkie - but seeing how much everyone's enjoying them, I'm really glad that they're up and running now!

Gnomon, the smileys are working for me in plain, and I've checked all the servers. Are you sure you're not running some weird CSS stylesheet which remaps all smileys?

Perhaps the Eds could take those smileys back and re-issue them in a few days with those little problems sorted?

Tardis..? ..? Do I have to understand Dr Who to get this??
As to - in Danish, it would mean snore ...

Look okay for me in Plain- Gnonom, if you go into the 'plain' preferences page, you can chose either the blue background version of teh smileys or the white ones, depending which suits your stylesheet. You've not not the wrong ones by accident, have you?

Sorry, Jim, that was a simulpost there. I see what my problem was. I had somehow selected the Blue radio box rather than the White one on the Plain Preferences page. Never knew that did anything!
But the curvature of the and other smileys is still an issue.

Gnomon, you must be picking up the blue smileys in plain. Have you ticked the wrong radio button in preferences?

Smij - Formerly Jimster Posted Mar 2, 2006
Jim Lynn's just told me that it's probably your stylesheet settings, Gnomon - if you go into 'Preferences' in Plain and make sure you have 'White' rather than 'blue' selected, it should work.

I believe snork is a noise made by someone through their nose in moments of great hilarity, resulting in movement of nasal mucous.
The Tardis is Doctor Who's time machine. KerrAvon will probably be along in a minute to tell me it should be in capitals.
