I've never been called a babe on site before. Though of course in real life I get called that all the time

Hi Kelli,
The Desert Island one was too UK specific, and as we're a global site we have to bear this kind of thing in mind.
Can you - or anyone else! - think of a better way of wording 'Our Favourite entries this week'?
All ideas welcome!

Peta, we've got a radio show on our local public broadcasting station called 'Desert Island Discs'...
Personally, I liked using the names of the itallics. It helps show a touch of their personality I thought...
Though Ashley's case

I like using the names as well. If they're Anna's picks, you should say that, because they're not necessarily the whole team's favourites, unless you each get to chose one...

To begin with I'm going to post to the entries to say why I like them. It would clear up any confusion and anyone coming to them can find out a bit more about me and I'd really like some more visitors to my page

Ahh. Well, tell that there thread what you think. It might be fun, and it'd give you something different to listen to in the DNA cupboard!

Hi Whoami?
We had some quite lengthy discussions with Researchers about the idea of an h2g2 Ethernet Radio broadcast in the spring of last year; check out the conversation at F647?thread=106102&post=909667#p889794!
I've posted some up-to-date information about how and when we're setting this up, plus some details of how far we've got already, in reply to your posting on the feature suggestions page.
If anyone else is interested, you can find out more details of the plan over at F47999?thread=186574.

In my defence, I would like to point out that I did suggest it should be a "Nominate" button (way back at post 9), not a "vote" button.
You will remember this when the Italics have run out of favourites (I mean, after a while, at the rate of 5 a week, they're going to run out - or they will eventually have claimed to have all 4000+ as favourites and that would defeat the object!)
