bit short. Possible collision with A656804.

also, you fail to mention other things called blue.
for example the boy band in the charts, and the other band of the same name who have a loyal fan-base dating back to the seventies, who were forced to pull an album from production days before it was due to be released because the other band nicked their name.

Blue light has a wavelength of about 475 nm [which is short for 'nanometer']. There are a billion
(1,000,000,000) nanometers in one meter.

spot the american
this is a british site, and a british billion is a milion milion, not a thousand milion.
also, 10e9 cannot be bi-anything.

xyroth - I'm not american but I am a lapsed scientist and 10^9 = one giga or a billion (at least everywhere in geology) although it is acknowledged that this is the *American* number for 1 billion it is used due to its international recognician - maybe you should check my personal space before making assumptions?

Yo Spook! You still there?
It's always a bit weird when there's more info in the thread than in the article...
interesting spelling anomaly with 'somebodies toothbrush'!
can't see the article going into the edited guide, so i guess strictly speaking this is not really workshop material - after all, how could 'advice' be given on this kind of personal comment?
any thoughts?

writing workshop = place where entry is when in the process of being written. suggested help is also asked for by it's place in the facility.
this entry = in the process of being written.
researcher = spook
spook = no time at all, hundreds of thngs to do.
which means please post ur comments and don't rush me to get things done, as i do not have any time right now.
thank you

spook,
sorry about that you're absolutely right. I thought I was posting to the PR. I do a bunch of postings on each, and I got my locales messed up.
You're totally right.
Let us know when you're ready to move on.
And like you said, this is the WW not the PR, so take your time!
apologetically,
Friar

i never realised that before.
so, do u think this entry has any potential?
ps. i'm thinking of changing my nickname to orangefish for a week or two. what do u think?

There is potential but you'd have to do quite a bit of work whilst avoiding collision with A656804. These days, entries need to cover their subject in more that a bullet list from 1 to 8 or so.
well, why not? Although I like spook better

i am getting ideas of what to do with this entry - perhaps something like '101 things that are blue'? what dou think?
ps. i also prfer spook, however, i have recently become obsessed with the orangefish smiley. i also think it would be fun if i change my name to confuse people and it would be good to see peoples' reactions.

Even in Britain, a billion is a thousand million. Xyroth may have missed the general change that occurred in the 80s.

'101 things that are blue' sounds good!
Can you name three (or more) food items that come in blue(-ish) colours?
Blue Curacao doesn't count
