Hi Shagbark,
This reads ok till you get to the Destinations section. It seems to go pear-shaped from there.smiley - erm
The links are all over the page, there's no detail/info by you other than the links in those sections. The noted persons section is empty. Looks to me like there's a lot more you could do to 'fill out' this article.

So if I am reading you right you want the later sections fleshed out more raqther than being bare boned.

attempting to flesh out the article on the evening of 11 August

I ran into this:

Your Guide Entry has been temporarily hidden, because a member of our Moderation Team has referred it to the Community Team for a decision as to whether it contravenes the House Rules in some way. We will do everything we can to ensure that a decision is made as quickly as possible.

Please do not try to edit your Guide Entry in the meantime, as this will only mean it gets checked by the Moderation Team twice.

I really do not believe I have broken any rules.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Donny the Fish , who apparently did not survive the BBCid switchover.

I think you need to contact the Eds. It looks like you may have been collected by the intermittent bug which closes out the article.

Earlier, I did notice that your Destinations and Famous People were only showing when viewed under Test61939551 I didn't mention it sooner, as I thought you might have still been working on the article at the same time.

I sent edittorialbbc an e-mail asking them to look into it.
Do you think I need to do a bug report?

Hi again Shagbark, the articles back though strange things appear to be going on. In IE8 the sections below destinations only show links and the Noted Persons section is blank whereas in chrome, firefox, opera and safari the article is intact and complete. smiley - huh
Most peculiar, not seen this glitch before.

I'm using IE 6 at the moment, and the bug seems to be after the Autumn temperatures - as I look at the screen, the subsequent sections are blank, but if I highlight the white space, the text reappears in dark blue.

Weird indeed...

looking at the table I removed spaces from
season temperature
maybe that was what was throwing things off.

Post 17

then I tried changing the tags in Destinations and that threw it back into moderation.

Shagbark, unfortunately, everytime you touch this now it will go straight back into moderation. I don't know if the Eds can actually stop it happening smiley - erm

Post 19

well, the last couple changes didn't send it back. Maybe if I leave that weather table alone and don't mess with the tags it will stay out of moderation awhile.

I returned to check on it ten hours later and it had reverted to moderation without my even touching it.
I have decided to let this sit untouched for two weeks.
During that time perhaps the scouts can decide whether they want a
sub-editor to exorcize the smiley - ghost in the machine or whether they think it would be better to permanantly keep this out of the EG.
